Consultation- This is a huge step with permanent make-up! We will take a look at your natural brow shape to determine where we will be tattooing and the color of pigment we will be using!
Measurements- Next, we will use rulers, inked string, callipers or stencils for positioning your new brows so they are even and what you desire!
Tattooing- If you are worried about pain, don't be! I use up to 3 different numbing creams throughout this process. Tiny hairlike strokes are made using a single hand-held needle. This is done in multiple passes, assuring we get the most natural, full look for your brows! Once the passes are finished your brows may be red and/or swollen, this will go down after a few hours!
You'll be able to look at your brows to let me know how you're feeling throughout this process!
Healing process- Your brows will be about 70% darker right after your session, compared to when they are healed. You will be given aftercare instructions. After 3-7 days they may start to itch as well as peel, this means they are healing! They will be bold and very pronounced right after your session. The following 2-3 weeks they will peel and could fade completely as part of the healing process, the color WILL come back again!
Touch-ups- You will need a touch up session 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment for the full effect of microblading. We will discuss the results so far and decide how much more color, thickness and/or fullness of your brows you'd like to add. This process and aftercare will be the same as the first session. Microblading should last 1-3 years (this is depending on your skin type and how well you follow the aftercare instructions). It is normal and necessary to get touch-ups every 1-3 years after your second initial touch-up!
