What is brow lamination? 

Brow lamination is like a perm for your eyebrows. A brow lamination straightens your eyebrow hairs and pushes them upwards to achieve a thick fluffy brow look.

How long does it last? 

Brow lamination can last around 4-6 weeks with proper care.

How can I maintain the best results? 

To maintain results you should avoid getting your brows wet for the next 24hrs. Also avoid excessively rubbing or touching your brows for 24hrs.

Does it work on every brow? 

Brow lamination is best suited for people who have medium to long eyebrow hairs. It is not best for someone with sensitive skin.

How long will it take? 

The majority of the time is spent in adequately consulting and selecting the appropriate color for your skin; The eyeliner procedure varies from person to person but usually takes about 2 hours to do.

Is it safe?  

I use special eye drops to protect the eye as I am tattooing. I use medical-grade needles that are encased in a special permanent cartridge. This patented cartridge system contains an internal diaphragm that prevents any bodily fluids and airborne contaminants from entering into the system. This ensures that you will receive the safest, most sterile form of cosmetic tattooing available. In addition, all of your procedures are done under Federal OSHA standards that regulate the sterile, safe and healthy practices for prevention of cross-contamination from person to person.

Will it hurt? 

A topical anesthesia is used as needed to help numb the areas to be treated. This helps to alleviate any minor discomfort you may experience during the procedure. Everyone has their own unique level of pain tolerance. Some people feel that certain areas of the face are more sensitive than others, so special emphasis is put on making the client as comfortable as possible. A variety of topical anesthetics are on hand to ensure that your procedure is as pain-free as possible.

When will I see the final result? 

At first the pigment will appear too dark. There is an exfoliative process during the healing that allows for the surface layer of color to “peel” after 4-7 days. Once completely healed, you are actually viewing the color through the skin, not on the surface as with traditional cosmetics. You can expect that it will “heal, peel and fade” after about one week. The color is usually about 30-40% lighter when healed than it appears the day of the procedure. If the color looks perfect immediately after the procedure, it would be much too light when healed.

Can I wear mascara or have eyelash extensions on? 

No, you must refrain from wearing mascara and other eye makeup while in the healing stages. It is recommended that you discontinue the use of mascara for 7 days and then resume with a brand new mascara to prevent any possible contamination or infection. You must not be wearing any eyelash extensions during your permanent eyeliner procedure. You should wait at least 10 days or until full healing has taken place before having lashes put on. 

What is it? 

A form of cosmetic tattooing that recreates the look of natural freckles on the face. They can be done on the cheeks, nose, temples, chin and anywhere else on the face really. 

Does it hurt?

A topical anesthetic is applied onto the area that will be treated. The numbing takes about 15-20 minutes to kick in, and once it does, the needling can start!

Are there any contraindications? 

Yes. As with any PMU treatment, freckle tattoos are not safe for:

 - People with diabetes (consult your doctor)

 - People with serious diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, or autoimmune disorders

 - People with any bleeding disorders

 - People who take blood-thinning medications (consult your GP and discontinue use if possible)

 - People who’ve recently had Botox injections or fillers in the area that will be treated (wait at least 4 weeks)

 - Pregnant or nursing women

 - People with a history of keloids or hypertrophic scarring

 - People with viral infections or diseases

 - People who are going through chemotherapy

 - People with skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area

 - People whose skin was tanned recently

What is henna?

Henna is a natural tint that is plant based and gluten free. It colors your brow hair and the skin underneath to make your brows appear fuller. 

How long does it last? 

Henna will last around 4-6 weeks with proper care. 

How can I maintain the best results? 

For best results, use a face scrub the night before your appointment to exfoliate and get rid of any dead skin cells. After your appointment you will need to avoid getting your brow wet for the next 24 to 48 hours. Also avoid using any exfoliants, AHA’s, and retinol directly over your brows.

Can the dye damage my brow hair? 

No, henna will not damage your hair. Henna does not strip your hair color, instead it coats the hair follicle with the dye 

Does it work on all hair colors? 

Yes, it can work for all hair colors. I have a variety of colors for clients and can customize the henna for your brows.

What is lip blush? 

It is a lip tattoo that enhances and defines your lips. It can help enhance and even out natural color, or add color if you are lacking any pigment. Your lips will look darker and more like lipstick on the first day, and soften as they heal to become a subtle, natural looking lip tint. Apply a little gloss or balm and your lips are perfectly kissable!

How long does it last? 

Results will always vary from person to person, after your initial session and the touch up, your results should last between 1-3 years. Additional touch ups may be required depending on the person and look desired. Permanent makeup ink is not the same as body art ink, and by design it does not last as long as body art ink.

What should I expect? 

There will be moderate swelling, redness and bruising for the first 5 days. Apply a Ziploc bag filled with water and ice for no more than 15 minutes at a time to reduce swelling. During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own. Expect the color to eventually lighten by up to 40% once the healing process is complete. Color may appear uneven at different stages of healing. Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results!

How long does the procedure take? 

The procedure takes about 2 hours. The consultation and prep work take a good portion of that time. I want to make after we have discussed your concerns and I've drawn out a shape that we are both on the same page before I start the procedure. Once we are both happy I will apply numbing cream for 20-30 mins then we will start the process.

What is Microblading? 

A semi-permanent brow tattoo, performed with a hand-held single blade, to produce hair-like strokes using ink, mimicking hair.

How long is the appointment? 

On average, an hour and a half . During your appointment we will consult with you ensuring we are on the same page. We then will measure and draw on a symmetrical set of brows and choose a color together.

Is the touch-up appointment included? 

Every artist is different. I personally charge per appointment, each service price is listed in my price section

What do I do before my appointment? 

Before your appointment you should: avoid caffeine, alcohol or blood thinners (Tylenol, aspirin etc.) for at least 24 hours prior. Come with make-up free brows, be sure you haven't been sun burned or had an Botox injections 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

What prevents me from getting Microblading done? 

Avoid Microblading if: You are pregnant, are trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding -You have or have had Chemo/Radiation in the last 6 months

-You are consistently on blood thinners or have had them 24 hours prior to your appointment

-You are taking medically prescribed acne medications (Accutane, Tetracycline, Retin-A etc.)

-You are allergic to numbing creams (Numbmaster, Ultraduration etc.)

How long does Microblading last? 

The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will fade over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 1-3 years to maintain shape, color, and detail. How often depends on a number of factors including:

 - Skin type (oily skin fade faster)  

 - Pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster)  

 - Sun exposure  (over time can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment) 

 - Use of daily anti-aging products e.g.- (Tretinoin (Retin-A) & Alpha Hydroxy). These products increase your cell turnover rate and will shorten the life of your cosmetic tattoo.

Does it hurt? I will do everything I can do to ensure you are comfortable through this process!  Before the microblading begins I will apply a topical anesthetic, followed by a liquid anesthetic throughout the procedure. Some clients feel slight discomfort but it should be relatively be pain free!

What should I do before my procedure? 

- If you regularly get your eyebrows shaped, waxed, threaded or tinted, please do so at least 3 days before your appointment. 

-If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you must wait at least one year before considering this procedure.

-You must stop using Retinol 2 weeks prior to your appointment and avoid using it for the 2 weeks following your appointment.

-If you get Botox regularly please get that done no later than 2 weeks before your appointment. This is to ensure we can make your brows as symmetrical as possible.  

-Avoid chemical peels at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.

-Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before and after your procedure. Do not come to your appointment with a sunburn. In this case, email us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule. 

-Avoid alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or any blood thinning medication 24 hours prior to your appointment.

-If you plan to go on a vacation, it is recommended to plan your trip a minimum of 10 days after the procedure due to the aftercare maintenance.

What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is custom sized jewelry that does not have a clasp. The jewelry is held together by a jump ring that is welded on. 

What if I have to travel?

Our chains are TSA friendly. You do not need to worry about taking it off or removing your jewelry. This may vary by airport - They may complete a pat down if needed.

What if I have a surgery or MRI coming up?

Our jewelry is covered forever if removal is needed for surgeries or MRI's. We will reweld it on for free.

Will it tarnish?

If tarnishing occurs, the chain will be covered with a one year warranty.

What happens if it breaks?

All jewelry is covered under warranty for one year if breaking occurs at the weld.

How do I take care of my jewelry?

You can clean your jewelry and charms with a gentle toothbrush, warm water, and dish soap.

What is laser teeth whitening? 

Laser whitening is a teeth whitening system that utilizes a laser to activate the bleaching agent placed on teeth. The laser reduces the amount of time needed for the bleach to whiten your teeth and also makes the bleach more effective. Before the laser is used, a protective gel will be placed on your gums to prevent sensitivity and your lips will be held away from your teeth. You will also wear protective glasses. The whitening gel is applied to the teeth and the laser is used to activate the gel. Afterwards, your teeth are rinsed and you are all set to go!

Will it hurt? 

No, it is not painful! A very small percentage of people may have slight sensitivity, but it is uncommon. You can avoid extremely hot or cold food/drinks 24 hours after the treatment as a precaution.

How long does it last? 

Laser whitening can last 6 months or longer (some people say 1+ years), every person is different. The longevity of results can depend on tooth structure, personal diet habits, and overall oral health.

How often can I get it done? 

Professional teeth whitening should be done in moderation. Most dentists will recommend the procedure be done every five to six months, depending on overall oral health. Overdoing it can cause long-lasting sensitivity, as well as unhealthy teeth.

Ways to make teeth whitening last!

There are a few things that you can do to make your teeth whitening results last:

- Brush after every meal

- Avoid heavily dyed beverages such as wine, tea or coffee

- Maintain regular cleaning appointments with a dental hygienist

- Avoid dyed mouthwashes
